Passionate about learning, Nasrin has taken numerous post-graduate courses to advance her clinical skills and continues to be a lifelong learner in the field of Physiotherapy. Junko graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in Toronto. Previously, she had graduated from Kokushikan University in Tokyo, Japan with a degree in Physical Education.
Junko has competed at the National Level in the Japanese martial art known as Kendo. From that experience, she gained knowledge about injury and pain management as well as prevention and self-care. Her combined experiences as a Physical Education teacher and personal fitness trainer have allowed her to approach massage therapy in a holistic manner.
Junko was motivated to became a massage therapist when she realized she could help treat her mother’s severe scoliosis. As Director, Bonny is responsible for the overall management, vision and direction of Pro Motion Physiotherapy. Bonny is considered an expert in the field of osteoporosis. Stephanie graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto in 2022 and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University in 2020.
Stephanie has a particular interest in working with neurological populations, following her placement experiences at University Health Network’s Lyndhurst Centre and Sunnybrook’s St John’s Rehab where she worked closely with patients with spinal cord injuries and stroke, respectively. Stephanie is also interested in pelvic health physiotherapy and plans to complete post-graduate courses in this specialization in the near future.
